Rockville RWK4CU 4 gauge amplifier install kit. Review
Переглядів 4,2 тис.6 років тому
This is just a simple review of Rockville's 4 gauge copper (Cu) amplifier install kit. Street price of $49 and well worth it. This is not a ghetto-arse amp install kit like you find for $20 on Amazon or Ebay. This is outstanding quality and definitely worth the extra coin that you should spend on it. Rockville W12K6D4 rev 2.0 subwoofer. Unboxing and brief review

For the price, this subwoofer is an incredible value. I think it will keep up with (or beat) anything on the market that costs 2 or 3 times more. Will post review and test demo of this woofer, and the rest of the Rockville gear that I am installing in my car shortly! Link to Rockville's site page about the woofer. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking at new subwoofers! www.rockvilleaudio...

In my opinion, Gene Krupa was the best there ever was. In addition to his talent, he was a showman which added to his performance. If you have never viewed the video of his Carnegie Hall performance with Benny Goodman in 1938, by all means find the footage and watch it. Krupa was fantastic. Just my opinion.

"The Dixie Dregs" is a band of friends but all are AWSOME GENIUS ! First of course is Steve Morse... Steve can play every styles of music with an incredible feeling and a technic just impossible to realise even working 24/24 hours... He's just for me the best guitar player since guitar has been created...and more he's a fantastic human being...I met him 4 times, I helped him to install his rig for guitar clinic etc...and as you met him he is so kind and friendly, it's so pleasant 🤩👍...

I really like Gene Krupp’s playing. Of course no one can match Buddy’s speed and technical prowess. However Gene just had a certain non quantitativiable something in his groove that made everything he play feel and sound and swing so good. In my opinion that shows / can be heard in their drum battle. Buddy blazed all over the kit and showcased his phenomenal abilities. Genes solo had a certain musicality and feel to it, where you could distinctly hear and feel the patterning of what he was doing and playing.

  • @jeremiahchamberlin4499

The trio that started before the 43:55 mark, was truly awesome; they were all ‘in the zone’, and casting a spell over audience. I notice on that track and others, that Krupa is reflecting to the audience what he is hearing, he is modeling the proper response to the music being played; which is to say, that he was listening even as he played, he wasn’t just ‘performing’, he was enjoying what he was doing, what others were doing. He was inviting us to join him in the music. Wonderful talent. Edit: I caught Gene on one those reunion tour events at Ravenna Park north of Chicago in 1970 or ‘71. I noticed that the performance degraded significantly after the rather extended break. I suspect the musicians were enjoying some mood-altering elements during their time off the stage. 🙂

Tony is the greatest. I only saw him once with the Herbie Hancock Quartet in the early 80s with Ron Carter and an unknown Wynton. I was really into Four & More, Smiles, Emergency, etc and he surpassed my lofty expectations. Basically made me realize I was never ever going be that good even if I practiced 10 hours a day. A funny thing I recall was the power and dynamics of his bass drum. He could do a single stroke roll with one foot. And he had to keep pulling his bass drum back to him because it kept sliding away due to the sheer power. His dynamics were incredible. He is my all-time fave. Gone but NEVER forgotten. There will never be another Tony. RIP.
